Maine Roots

A blog about all things Maine

One Year Later…

It’s hard to believe, but today is the one year anniversary of the start of the Maine Roots blog.  It’s connected me back to the state of Maine in all the ways I’d hoped, although my real job has prevented it from happening quite as often as I’d hoped.  Thank you for sticking with me and continuing to come back to see what’s new – whether I post twice a week or once a month!

In a few weeks, I’ll get to go back for my annual dose of Maine, and boy, am I looking forward to it!  I hope you’ll tell me if there’s a specific topic you’d like me to research while I’m there.  There is nothing like the holiday season in frosty Maine!

  1. Wahoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo can’t wait for you to be home!
PS I met the Fat Friar guy at a tradeshow and immediately brought you up– he had so many nice things to say about you!
I also got to try his mead; I think it would taste best shared with you and paired with your new apple pie…

  2. I would like you to research…chicken pizza at GHOP! With meee!

  3. Good idea to write about a local icon like GHOP! I think many towns in Maine (and New Hampshire) have a “House of Pizza”, but Gorham’s has to be the best!
